âWill Our NFT Be The Game Character?
We don't want our NFT to be the exact character of the game for several reasons:
There is a scalability issue as our NFT is limited and not all holders are gamers. We don't want to limit our player count.
Generative PFPs can result in some characters not being as aesthetically pleasing as others, and we want only the best-looking Kumas to represent our game.
Having a few but high-quality characters makes it easier to create story-driven IP. We never see good IP with thousands of main characters, Don't We?
Lore-wise, the game is set in a different timeline, 100 years after the first Kuma Genesis landed on Earth and in the era of their grandchildren.
Instead, your generated token from your NFT is usable in our game ecosystem. It serves as a legacy from the past generation of Kumas. You'll see Kuma ancestors as a big part of the story and maybe some Kuma Genesis as NPCs.
Also- Players will have the opportunity to submit their own kuma characters with unique stories to be considered for inclusion in the game. The kuma characters may be featured as heroes, villains, or NPCs.
